NEW CASTLE, ENGLAND HALF MARATHON.
Josh had his very first professional race in New Castle, England. It was a half marathon which is a first for him. He did incredible- taking 5th out of 50,000 runners. He was the first white guy to come in (hopefully that isn't too politically incorrect). His time was 62: 54, which averages out to be 4:48 per mile. He is so happy to be back running, and although it means time away from each other I am happy to see him race again too....just not to have him gone for so long. He doesn't race again for another month and that will be in New York for the Olympic Trails Marathon. That will be his first marathon ever...so we'll see how that goes. So exciting!
