NEW JOB-
So, as some of you know, I haven't had a job for the past 8 months and happily so. Josh travels a lot for meets and a lot of them I'm able to go with him to, plus he's home all day, we thought we'd be pregnant by now and having kids, etc...the reasons could go on and on for why I haven't had a job. Normally I'm totally content but the past few weeks I have been so insanely bored that I finally started searching for something; not necessarily a job even just something to preoccupy me & my time until the lucky day we do have kids. Anyhow, to make a long story short, I knew there was no way anyone would hire me because I'll be taking time off between now and May and then come the summer time we are spending two whole months in Park City, UT and then our summer is crazy with meets and potentially the Olympics. However, a guy from my past ward just opened up this gourmet rice pudding place called "Pudding on the Rice", and he asked if I'd like a job. He is surprisingly alright with my hours (or lack thereof)! So, I am now a Gourmet rice pudding chef/manager. I do all the baking and mixing and it's actually quite fun. I will only work 3 or 4 days a week, so it's simple, simple, but something to keep me "busy" and "productive". The only down side is is that the pudding is AMAZING and we have all types of things to garnish with (broken oreos, toffee, fresh fruit, reeses bits, etc...) and I have zero self-control, so all I want to do while making the stuff is put it straight in my mouth. I couldn't take any pictures off the website, but check it out at http://www.puddingontherice.com/. Everything is made to look really gourmet and beautiful!

Hey Jena! I'm so confused, are you in Provo or Portland? That rice place is in Utah, but I thought your new condo is in Portland. Anyway, we need to get together sometime if you are in Portland still! I'm bored out of my mind all day, why haven't we been hanging out?

Jena you are SO funny. Do you have any rice pudding experience? And the chef/manager title sounds so fancy. You go girl. Adrienne

Jena,
Anita and mark were here last weekend, and we were all talking about what a cool concept a rice pudding restaraunt is. I want to try it sometime! P.S.. we need to see you guys since you don't live very far away!
