This past weekend Josh competed in the "USA Cross Country Championships" down in San Diego. This race determined whether or not he would make it to the "World Championships" this coming March in Scotland. World's is a huge race- it essentially is exactly like the Olympics. He had to place in the top 6 to make it and he ended up taking 3rd place! It was a really fun race to watch because we could see a lot of it. The whole time the pack of 4 guys were way ahead of everyone else and led the whole thing. To give you an idea of the calaber of these guys- each of them is a National champion from college. The guy in the blue is Ryan Hall, winner of the NY Olympic Trials marathon. The other NIKE guy is Dathan Ritzenhein, 2nd place at NY Olympic Trials & 2004 10k Olympian. And Jorge (George) Torres, top American finisher in the 4k at World's last year. Anyhow, they are all amazing runners and it was really fun to see Josh dominate the field with them. So, now Josh will head off to Edinburgh, Scotland the last week in March and compete against the best in the World!

I wish him the best in Scotland. And we for sure should get together when you are here. Give me a call when you are coming.

Josh you are my hero! You are definitely living the dream. Make sure you eat some haggis over there in Scotland. It does great things for one's intestinal tract. Good luck!!!

Jena... It's Dani Stewart! (Well, Harmon, now). How in the heck are you?! Are you really up in Beaverton? We are on the other side of Portland in Gresham. Crazy! We need to have a lunch date or something! Check out our blog! PS... I am very jealous about Scotland. That's where we Stewarts originated from!
