It has been over a month since I've last posted anything, so I'm sure you're sick of looking at the same old post. You might have caught on to what I'm about to say through the header and indeed, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage!
*WE ARE PREGNANT!*
I am 9 weeks along & due the end of October. Since we found out we can't help but look at all the cute baby Nike gear. One of Josh's running friends had a baby about 9 months ago and at the Marathon Olympic Trials they had their baby in Nike running spikes! We'll have to invest in some of those soon, I'm sure.
As you can imagine, we are SO excited to be expecting our first baby. I'm hardly ever one to write really sentimental blogging posts, but I feel like I have to give credit where credit is due and truly, God has blessed us so much. Most of our family and friends know that it took us a while to get pregnant and then out of nowhere we are all of a sudden expecting and I'm so thankful! There's a scripture that I can't find anywhere, but that says something to the effect of, "After you've passed through these trials, I'll be there to bless you and I will be there so you can testify of my love and mercy towards you!" (That is the modern day lingo for my scripture!) So, with that, thanks be unto God for this baby, for He truly does see us through it all!
