Not Happening...

For the first week after having Logan I had no appetite at all for sweets...or food in general because I was too consumed in hugging, cuddling and kissing my boy. I am still obsessed with doing those things but I now have my appetite back...and then some! I didn't worry too much about eating sweets while I was pregnant because no matter how well I ate my belly was still going to get big...but now that I'm supposed to lose the belly I should have really great self-control and I find that I have none. Help! What's a girl to do?

First, can I just say that you were skinny even when you were pregnant...one picture on your mom's blog of you and your tiny little legs, hello?!
Second, the movie was fantastic. Of course you don't expect it to be like the books, because in my mind everything is absolutely perfect and how I want it to be. But they did a good job! And the characters were perfect!
I saw a woman there tonight with a little tiny baby, and I'm sure he was still on the teet. Don't make excuses Jena. Do it for Edward. =)

One word... breastfeed. Okay, that doesn't work for everyone, but don't be too consumed with losing the "baby weight" just yet (if you have any). You don't want to risk decreasing your milk supply. Give yourself a little time and just enjoy eating and cuddling your handsome babe!

don't worry about it so much, no one expects you to be super skinny right after having a baby. it takes time. sometimes longer than others(at least that was the deal for me). but you seemed to not have gone overboard when you were pregnant so you should be fine.

Nursing is a great excuse for not feeling guilty. You're supposed to take in 500 extra calories a day just from nursing, so dive in!

Dude, I think I weigh more now than when I was nine months pregnant. I EAT EVERYTHING, so if you find any good ways to get rid of the appetite (besides self-control because that's not working) then please let me know! Soon I will be the size of a small house.

I agree with Dani! Breast.feed. And don't worry about the calories right now, just enjoy a break! Sit on the couch with your baby and eat Bon-Bons - it's probably the only time in life that you'll be able to do so!
And, yeah, hello! Totally skinny pregnant lady- you don't have anything to worry about anyway!

I wouldn't stress. Like the other moms have said breast-feeding will help. just enjoy the time. I remember thinking, "oh my goodness, my body is never going to be the same. It won't, but it will get better. It takes time. I agree though that you looked great pregnant so I don't think you have a lot to worry about.
