Mini van mama!

My dear Toyota Sienna,
Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways! You came to us Thanksgiving week and I have been infatuated with you ever since. You have such nice curves and are smokin' hot. I feel so cool when I am with you and when people see us together. We make such a fine pair- I know others are jealous.
You are so good with my children; you are safe and protective. I have so much trust in you. You are clean and pure; warm and spaceous. You are so selfless and take us any where we want to go. Never leave us.
I will love you always. -Jena

When Josh and I lived in Provo, I worked for a used car dealership in Orem called Washburn Motors. Not only was it a great job but I got to be really close with the Washburn family. I know that a used car dealership and honesty is kind of like an oxy moron, but truly Steve was the most honest dealer I have ever met. We knew that if we were ever to buy a used car we'd have to go thru him. He found us this great van and we are lovin' it. I have zero shame that I am 24 years old and already a mini van mama. I tell you, they are the way to go. =)

I started driving a mini van at 24 too! It's actually been really nice - nothing to be shameful about. Glad you enjoy it.

Oh yes, the wonderous joys of a mini van!! Don't they make life as a mom so much easier?! We have the same make, model, and color. LOVE IT!! Congrats on graduating to real motherhood. :)

I loved my Sienna! We had one up until last... was it May? I can't remember... anyway, some lady ran a red light and totaled my wonderful car. ...February...? (boy that will drive me nuts.) ANYWAY-- Eric and I were both impressed with how well the car took the impact! (hope you never have to experience this) Considering how hard she hit my car, it only effected the front right bumper area and, even though the wheels were bent inward and the car was totaled, I could still easily open the driver's side/passenger side doors. Not easy to explain without seeing the pics but the car's design did just what it should have to protect me and my precious cargo. I replaced the Sienna with a Odyssey and have been fine with the Odyssey... but miss my Sienna. (and of course I only had about 8 payments left on that car! HUMPH!) Enjoy your new van!!! It sounds wonderful! I can't wait till I can get something bigger than our car, not sure if it will be a mini van or suv, we are still up in the air. Congrats on yours though, I'm sure taking the kids places will be much easier.
