Thanks to my brother Travis' keen eye for anything BYU, he passed along an article re. Josh that I knew nothing about (of course Josh knew but as always he was too humble to bring any sort of recognition to himself). The Mountain West Conference just celebrated its 10 year anniversay, and in conjunction with that they decided to announce their "fall All-Decade Teams, honoring the best athletes in the MWC" over the last decade. Out of all the athletes in the MWC Josh was named best athlete for Men's Cross Country. His sister Tara was also recognized for being one of the greatest women's Cross Country athletes! Congrats Josh & Tara!

"Men's Cross Country
Josh Rohatinsky
A three-time All-American, Rohatinsky became an NCAA National Champion his senior year. Along with the 2006 National title, Rohatinsky claimed the MWC Championship title two times and earned First-Team All-MWC honors. In addition, he was named Division I Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Year."

"Tara Rohatinsky-Northcutt
Rohatinsky-Northcutt was a two-time All-MWC first team member. She earned two All-America honors throughout her career, with an 18th-place finish at the 2000 NCAA Championships and a 17th-place finish at the 1999 NCAA Championships."

That was in the papers here too. We made sure to get a copy for both Josh and Tara. Don't you love how they forgot to mention that Tara also was a National Champion?! By-the-way, has BYU contacted Josh yet about getting some of his things for the National Champions case in the SAB?

What a cool article! Glad Travis caught it. We hadn't seen it! Bro and Sis Rohatinsky (Josh' parents have to be so proud). If you want Josh to run a marathon a little later after the baby comes, the Richmond Marathon is well thought of and it isn't till Saturday, Nov 15 (the day Daniel is getting married...so we're missing it). Kathleen's Gary has been training all year and he's running it and we won't get to see it!
Loved the pictures of the purses...cute, cute! And the shower was wonderful! THat's the neatest baby bed!

We're excited for Rohat to get here. If we'd had a boy I would have insisted that we name him Leland Thomas after his Dad. So since we have no sons and no grandsons to date, you should name your boy Leland THomas for us! :) just kidding.

Love, Aunt Kim
