Thanksgiving Break

Be prepared for a zillion photos! Unfortunately I can't put all of them and sadly I didn't get pictures of everyone with Logan. Josh and I were lucky enough to spend 10 days in Utah for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun seeing everyone and showing off Logan. This was the first time Auntie Jessi (my sis. & best friend) got to see Logan, as well as all of Josh's family, so he was definitely the life of the party.

We got to do so many things and see so many of our friends, but like I said earlier we unfortunatley didn't capture all of the things we did and people we saw.
Here are photos of the highlights! First off, just a few adorable pictures of Logan in all his cuteness. He took his first plane ride and we were fortunate enough that they had extra seats so we could take his carseat on!

First moments with Auntie Jessi!

Taylor loved holding Logan and was such a good cousin to him.

Thanksgiving morning most of Josh's family ran the Orem Turkey Trot! They had a 4 mile run and a 2 mile walk. Everyone else ran but Josh's sister Tara and I walked the 2 mile together. As you can imagine 3 weeks after having a baby I didn't quite feel up to running....let alone 4 miles, and Tara is 30 weeks pregnant! =) It felt so good to get out and be active again (if you can call it that). It was a lot of fun to do as a family too. Josh ran it with everyone and then came back and finished it with Tara and me. I had Logan in one of those front carriers and Tara pushed her two boys in a joggind stroller.

On Sunday (Nov. 30) we blessed Logan. We decided to do it in Utah because all of Josh's family (except his little brother Jared who is on his mission in Brazil) would be there and my dad and family would also be in Utah. Josh did such a great job and the spirit was so strong. Logan was blessed with many things- to have strong faith in Christ, to have a deep understanding of the gospel, to follow Heavenly Father's plan, to marry in the Temple, to serve a full-time mission, etc... Those are some of the things that were said. I am so thankful for the Priesthood and for a husband who is worthy to hold it and to be the head of our family. I feel like Logan is protected in a way now that he has received that blessing. I'm so thankful! I can't say that enough!
Sadly we weren't able to round everyone up in Josh's family to get a picture with Logan after the blessing. But here is my family (except my oldest brothers and my brothers wife), and then a picture of us with our friends Steve & Melissa Washburn. I used to work for Steve at Washburn Motors (there really are sales men with integrity) in Orem when we lived in Utah and we became good friends with him and his wife Melissa. Their daughter Olivia and I were BFF's while I worked there. I miss them every day! Their son Anderson came along right before we left, so we have yet to establish a BFF status. =) I am convinced that one of my future daughters will eventually marry him!

Love the pictures! Thanks for sharing. My favorite part of the blessing Josh gave Logan was when he blessed him to have charity in all his relationships. That will serve him well all his life.
It was so fun being with you guys.
love you!
