Half way there!

I can't believe my pregnancy is half way over already.  To be honest it scares me a little bit because I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle having a newborn and a baby (Logan truly is just a baby still). Despite that scary part I have to admit that I get more and more excited every single day about having this baby.  For a while I didn't actually believe I was pregnant (except the constant reminder from my nausea), but now that we've seen pictures and know that it's a boy it seems so much more real.  As hard as it will be for the first while (give or take 20 years) I really am excited to see our little guy and for Logan to have a buddy.

I don't know how this picture (my size) compares to how I was with Logan, but honestly, I cannot stop eating.  I think my "I'm Full" detector in my belly has vanished because I could eat...no, no...DO eat just about all day.  I don't want to misuse the word literally here because I know exactly what it means, but (deep breath) literally I could eat all day...especially junk food. So maybe it is more figuratively than literally, but none-the-less I think you get my point.

As for other news, Arizona is good.  I was hoping for a lot of sun and pool time, but it actually has been raining the past 2 1/2 weeks. Ugh! I didn't know that any part of the Arizona state got rain.  Thankfully Logan and I were able to get in the pool today and we had a good time. I'd post pictures but we don't have our camera cords, so I won't have any cool pictures for you until we get back home in a couple of weeks.  So sorry.

Logan came down with an ear infection for a while and was not sleeping well at all, but thanks to modern day medicine he is doing MUCH better and has slept through the night the past 3 nights. Hallelujah! He has returned to his normal fun, incredibly active self and I just can't get enough of him.

Josh is training hard for the USA 10k championships the end of June, which if he makes the top 3 (and runs 27:47 or lower) he qualifies for the World Championship team.  Worlds is exactly like the Olympics just in the off years, and will be in Germany this year.  We'll see shortly how that turns out!

We'll be back with pictures soon!

Ah yes, it's coming into monsoon season there. My home town (Snowflake)is about 1 1/2 hours SE (and down 2,000 feet in elevation) from where you are. I remember the rainy season well. Your little tummy is so cute.

Congratulations! Ours are almost 3 and almost 6 and when they play together, it is such a joy to watch. Oh BTW, I was trying to get cousin Josh's email address to ask him a running question. Mine is: darinr@wsu.edu.

I can't believe you're half way - you don't look very pregnant in the picture, so keep eating and enjoy it! Congrats! You're beautiful.
