Baby #3 is....

Baby Rohat #3 is....

We went in on Wednesday to do an early ultrasound to check the gender of the baby (17 weeks).
Unlike my boys this little girl was curled up in a tight ball and it took the better part of 5 minutes before the ultrasound tech said, "Well...I was hoping for a better picture to show you....bbbbuuuuttt....it's DEFINITELY a girl!" She was very sleepy and wouldn't move for anything. (Still need to figure out a way to scan my ultrasound pics on here.)
As you can imagine we are beyond excited (which I would have been even if it had been a boy). It's just nice to finally know what gender your baby is.
I immediately went out and bought a few girly things. We are now on the hunt for baby girl names (although there is one that we've had in mind for a while that is at the tip top of our list). It's weird to not look at baby boy names. I keep seeing cute boy names and thinking "That one might work..." and then I quickly realize that I am not in the market for boy names.
I have another ultrasound at 20 weeks to make sure that everything looks good, so hopefully that ultrasound will confirm that it truly is a baby girl.
In the meantime I am losing lots of sleep dreaming about what she'll look like, what name to use, what clothes to buy, how to decorate her room (when we have space for her to have a room), and many, many more things...

What great news! We felt the same way when we found out about Carter after two girls. If it was another girl... great... if it was a boy... very exciting. Girl stuff is so much fun. Beware though, you'll spend a lot more money!

Hooray for girls!! Obviously I'm partial to boys too, but it's nice to have both! I'm so excited for you to have some female company around! Dressing girls is so fun. :)

That's awesome you're having a girl! I agree with the others...it's so fun to dress them up and so fun to see how different they are than little boys.
